You can have access to your documents wherever you are when you use Bowne. BowneLink, our Web-based document courier, enables you to send, receive, notify, view and print your documents with state-of-the-art security.

Security. Delivering documents securely–BowneLink uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which provides powerful (128-bit) encryption.

Accessibility. Making documents available anytime, anywhere–Wherever you are, BowneLink provides you with instant global access to your documents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the Internet.

Ease of Use. BowneLink is now easier to use than ever before. Our document view feature allows you to go immediately to the documents you want to see first.

E-mail notification. When documents are ready in BowneLink, you are automatically notified by e-mail. A hyperlink in the e-mail connects you directly to your document.

Large File Capacity. BowneLink permits the sending and receiving of large-sized files, unlike many corporate e-mail systems that restrict larger file transmissions.

Compatibility. Eliminating a myriad of problems around platform incompatibility – View and print documents as if they were Bowne originals regardless of which software you are using. BowneLink sends proofs as Portable Document Format (PDF) files. PDF technology allows you to receive exact replicas of the typeset document Bowne is producing for you.

Hardware and Software Requirements

You will need a connection to the Internet and either Netscape® (4.08 or higher), Microsoft® Internet Explorer® (4.0 or higher) or AOL® (5.0 or higher). If you do not have a direct Internet connection, you should have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) with a modem connection of 56k baud or higher.
